• rename the xpi file to zip
  
• extract install.rdf
  
• edit install.rdf, changing the maxVerison line to:
  

  	<em:maxVersion>3.*</em:maxVersion>
  

• update the zip file
  
• rename the zip file to -patched3.xpi (in most cases)
  

With the exception of card games, This was done without the permission or
knowledge of the various authors.  Cards was also modified by me to correct
hinting for games with more than 8 columns (0.98 only hints up to column
8), and to hint from right-to-left, as this almost always makes the better
hints first.

No guarantees.  They all seem to work for me.

http://www.???

Upon checking, some of these extensions were pointed at the wrong web pages,
so I corrected them.


maya maniac sent email to say "Please fix the Download Manager Tweak add-on
patch, your current patch doesn't work in FF3 final."

If anybody can provide more detailed information?


Errata:

The Doodle Classic theme makes the scroll bar disappear.  Anybody know
why?

Spoofstick 1.06 (not included here) will not load because because it "Does
not provide secure updates".  Fair enough, but most of the extensions I'm
using say that and will load, but show that same message in the add-ons
window.
I eliminated the error message by providing the correct update web site, but
it still doesn't work.  Help?
